The Armoury was created as space for reviews, commentary and view on all things 1/6 with a focus on 1/6 Military.
We promise and strive to provide an unbiased opinion when reviewing all 1/6 products.
The 1/6 military market , (at least western) is shrinking, steep learning curve, increasing prices and collector gravitation towards more mainstream, non military themes that required “less skill” to set up are some reasons behind the degradation. I believe exposure, open discussion, willingness to participate, contribute and availability of safe spaces to do so play a part in vitalizing the market.
I relied on and prized interaction with the community, in my roles as fellow collector, reviewer and brand owner. I took the opportunity to explain decisions that were made in a product release to the best of my abilities, to increase transparency in the industry. It was for me, an opportunity to do something different, instead of the usual way brands and manufacturers were seemingly uncontactable / unreachable. The interactions i valued so much brought a lot of constructive feedback and suggestions that have helped in part shape product releases.
The Armoury webpage will serve as a space for review and commentary publication to seed interactions between collectors and to spark inclusive, in-depth and unrestricted discussions on all items 1/6.
Feel free to share, comment and leave suggestions !
